I’VE LITERALLY BEEN HAVING THE EXACT SAME THING???
IT WAS SUPER WEIRD. I actually called back a second time b/c the first time it said something before it hung up and i was like maybe that was important? and it literally goes 'goodbye' really softly at about the 7 min mark then hangs up like . . .. okay . . .
tell us more about spur, what was her adolescence like? did she have parents, and were they good to her? was there a turning point when she decided to hunt wanted dragons?
I haven’t put TOO much thought into her childhood. Her parents were okay, but they didn’t really Care about any of their hatchlings, and it was hard to stand out and get attention. A local apothecarist, an older woman, ends up taking her in. She teaches Spur everything she knows, but Spur is a very adventurous child and is often more concerned with picking fights and exploring.
She decides she wants to become some sort of authority when she comes home as an older teen and finds her guardian’s shop has been robbed and her guardian killed. She uses all her knowledge of apothecary and sets out to learn some new skills this time.
I’ve changed some of her timeline around this but essentially after this she ends up running with this cowboy vigilante crew mostly run by men and its obnoxious and toxic but she stays because i mean. she’s learning stuff at least. except then they start doubting her loyalty, and when they try to get her to turn dirty and kill a girl for a petty bounty she turns against the leader and kills him.
I think after this she sort of just decides that she’s going to do things her own way, and if someone is gonna hurt others or stand in her way, she’ll return the favor.

-actually a fairy-shaped dragon (even he doesn’t Entirely know that)
-basically a changeling child
-sort of just Showed up in the clan and everyone accepted it. Hangs around the market people watching a lot
-ppl think he’s mute but he Can talk. He just doesn’t, usually.
-speaks draconic but also talks in another strange chittering tongue, it almost sounds insect-adjacent but in a sing song way.

oh yeah! it is a symptom of autism, and while a google of echolalia adhd didnt help me much I'm p sure it is also one of the symptoms shared between the two?
