Hello??? What is this line even??? 😭

He sounds so low and soft here, almost hesitant, like the words are dragging vulnerability out of him against his will.

Gilrain, my beloved grumpy sass-machine, how dare you. One moment you’re roasting everyone, the next you’re hitting me with this quiet plea?? I cannot be normal about him, or his voice, or the way he says it like he’s afraid of the answer.

Gilrain voice line roulette is ruining me. How am I supposed to survive this man when he swings between angst, softness, and predatory growls in the space of five minutes??? 😭 Some examples from his voice lines.

•“The feelings in my heart vanished long ago with the moonlight.” → excuse me sir, that’s called emotional devastation.

•“Light begets shadow, but the shadow holds no allegiance.” → philosopher mode unlocked, thanks for the existential crisis.

•“Have you also come to enjoy the night’s serenity?” → suddenly soft and soothing, like he actually wants me to breathe for once.

•“So you’ve found me in the shadows. Try to keep up then.” → the growl. The huff. Goodbye.

•“What’s on your mind? Speak, and I will take care of it.” → oh, so now you’re protective too?

•And then that quiet plea: “…even if you were to descend into hell, would you still be willing to accompany me?” → WHY does he sound like he’s breaking when he says this??

I swear Gilrain has such an interesting voice work in the game. Baritone menace, sarcastic grump, and then out of nowhere: vulnerability so raw I can’t even deal. I will share more structured thoughts about him some other time. I’m just so smitten with him… I guess. 😩☺️

Baphomet is literally standing right there in his rusting armor, and this man just goes:

“An almost eternal lifespan of memories, yet confined to a rusting metal. I can understand his obsession with flesh.”

Sir?? You cannot just say that out loud in the middle of the room. (Well, to be fair, maybe that‘s the point.)

He is even funnier the more I replay his scenes. The most dangerous elder not because of his power but because his mouth has no brakes.

Cain opens his mouth and it’s over for me. Every line is sharp, layered, deliberate—cutting through politics and cruelty like a blade. And then he throws in something like “As long as I’m here, I won’t allow anyone to harm them” and suddenly I’m on the floor. He’s clever, ruthless when he has to be, but beneath it all there’s this loyalty that makes my chest ache.

I think he’s the kind of guy who enjoys watching people unravel, so it figures.

Starting the new event story now, and my first thought is: Nooo, it’s unvoiced (the sighs and moans don’t count). I want to hear Noah taaalk.

This week feels like a test. Lack of sleep, migraines, stress, and family matters have kept me from playing Silver and Blood properly. Hopefully tonight I can slip back into it. I miss my beautiful chaotic menace Noah. I miss the others. Maybe I’m also just yearning for the peace and quiet of the moon right now. Something gentle to cut through the noise.

Cain Brainrot (part 1/???) because his voice lines are doing things to me.

“Or perhaps you seek to unravel my mysteries.”

Yes, actually.

“Speak not; simply feel the tranquility of this moment.”

Sir, I’m begging you.

“You seem to have changed.”

Maybe I have, Cain. Maybe I have.

There’s just something about the way his words roll off his tongue, the way his voice dips lower at the end of every sentence. I’m not okay.

I swore I wasn’t going to buy Gilrain’s skin. Saw it, thought: “Yeah, he looks good, but it’s just something to stare at. Not worth the money.”

…Fast forward a few days: I folded. Because look at him. Just look at him.

He’s a tragic painting come to life—silver ribbons, bloodlight, something between angel and ghost, sorrow and grace. Ethereal enough to hurt. So yes, I’m calling this an art investment, actually.

Though honestly, skins would feel so much more worthwhile if they came with added voicelines or had some function in combat. I’m not paying just to stare at fabric, give me lines to cry or swoon over, please.

And devs, please take this as a sign: more male skins. Cain, Van Helsing, Noah—line them up.
