Who remembers the Converse Grandmama commercials?
Ninja x adidas ZX Torsion
The ZX Torsion “Time In” comes in two color options, grey and purple. The sneakers are constructed with mesh uppers, suede overlays and ribbon Three Stripes on the side. Where the grey colorway has blue detailing on the tongue and toe box and red detailing on the grey outsole, the purple iteration is decked in purple, black and grey on the upper, atop a white outsole boasting green detailing. “Time In” lace tags, a Boost midsole and X-shaped bar for stability complete the design.
The forthcoming sneakers forgo the gamer’s signature “Collegiate Royal” colors and are instead offered in grey and purple colorways. Further breaking with their debut collaboration, Ninja’s logo as hangtags is also abandoned, with a minimal “Time In” branding on the lace tags instead.
An official release date is still unknown, but select retailers have Ninja’s next “Time In” capsule scheduled for June. In the meantime, enjoy a first look at the ZX Torsion “Time In”
