Harry – this is a Pocket Sneakoscope. If there’s someone untrustworthy around, it’s supposed to light up and spin. (POA, chapter 1)
I remembered this part when I read “Moody”’s talk about it.
So, my dears, who wants to discuss how would the Sneakoscope react with Severus around? Because I’m pretty sure some people would be pretty surprised to realise it didn’t react. Unless it was Voldemort’s Sneakoscope, that’s it.
I do like doing Harry Potter OC gifs
so I'm supposed to be writing a drarry fic for @phantronnor. today she texts me, and this is how the conversation went:
her: wyd
me: writing
her (unfairly): on what boi
me (with sarcasm and wit): a shipfic about the marauder’s map falling in love with the invisibility cloak and getting jealous of the sneakoscope
her: wait are you for real
me: lololol no??
me: of course not??
me: what
her: ohhhhh ok
me: what kind of crack
her: well it seemed so random like u thought about it quite a bit
me: I did put some though into that tbqh
me (internally): *in the voice of hoban washbourne* curse texting and it’s inability to accurately transmit tonal subtleties!
but honestly, someone had better get on developing punctuation to signal sarcasm before i further embarrass myself
Harry receives many birthday presents throughout the series, some of which are more useful and exciting than others.
Certain sacrifices had to be made when adapting the “Potter” books for the big screen. Thankfully, “Entertainment Weekly” has exclusively revealed concept art for some of the characters that never made it to the screen and yes – one of them is Peeves the poltergeist!
Handy enough to keep in one's sock, really.
Whatever you say, Murtlap.
