my biggest peeves are:

1- when someone interrupts me while I’m playing piano, writing, or drawing

2- when someone says “I have to go pee!” instead of “excuse me, I have to use the restroom.”

3- the sound of children giggling stupidly

Snippet time

Thank you @goldenlionprince for the tag. Given recent posts and that it's Lina tagging me (so I'll definitely do a JamesANDSirius snippet), I suppose it's fitting to share a snippet from my next chapter of Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs.

'C-can I have it back, p-please?' 

'In a moment,' answered Sirius.

'Yeah, we're just taking a look,' agreed James, who was examining the different coloured marble stones with interest.

But by the time James was done, Peeves appeared out of nowhere, and the opportunity was too good to miss. After a glance at Sirius, who nodded encouragingly, James threw the box to Peeves, who caught it.

'Late Easter present,' grinned Sirius. 'From Tiffany over here.'

Revenge for having ratted them out last time. They had planned to give her old set back—one way or another. They weren't thieves. But by involving a teacher, it all became far more troublesome. While they'd avoided getting a detention back then, Gryffindor had lost twenty points. 

This should teach her a lesson. 

Peeves cackled happily as he opened the box: 'Oooh. How kind of Ickle Tiffy-Niffy. Present shows caring, and caring is sharing.'

At this, he picked up a stone and threw it at Tiffany, who screamed and started running down the hallway.

'Catch, Tiffy! Catch!'

Peeves shot after her, pelting more stones as he called in a sing-song voice: 'Lost her marbles, what a shame! Peevsie’s got a brand-new game!'

'Always good value, Peeves,' said Sirius, feeling elated at the freedom now they'd ditched the other students.

'Which is more than I can say for you two,' came a disapproving voice.

Sirius turned to see Fabian and Gideon Prewett standing at the other end of the corridor with the Ravenclaw Captain and Chaser, Owen Redpath, and their Keeper, Regina Hootch.

Damn, caught by two prefects and the Head Boy to boot.
