I drew a little thing for @snifekinner as a mix of early-Yule-present and a thank-you gift for 1) helping me with my fic and 2) making me feel welcome back in this fandom after I was away for such a long time. I can nitpick the drawing forever, but I won't!!!
These are my sons and I love them.
how your hetalia faves would deal with a deadline headcanons 💖
Eduard: He's really organized and he gets stuff done way earlier than needed
Raivis: Canonically he is said to get things done surprisingly well under pressure and under threat. He most likely forgot until the night before and somehow manages to pull it together
Tolys: He's been stressing since he first learned of his task. He hasn't slept once and has dedicated hours of his time to getting it done before the deadline. He nonetheless overthinks and he ends up turning it in 10 minutes before it's due. He has made seventeen different drafts.
Feliks: thinks he has more time than he actually does. He thinks to himself that the deadline isn't until date way far ahead but suddenly it's twelve hours before it's due, and he hasn't started. If he manages to complete it in time, it is C+ work if he asks for another day to submit whatever he's working on, then it will be the best work possible. Liet is very annoyed at this because he has put so much work into this and somehow Feliks manages to get by. Feliks spends a good portion of the early portion of the deadline process, trying to get Liet to do it for him or help him. Liet refuses and gets more stressed out because Feliks nagging at him isn't helping him get his own work done
Ivan: pushes all of his work onto other people
Gilbert: he's similar to Eduard in that regard but Jesus Christ he's fucking annoying about it.
i never got involved w the ghosts fandom, i had no idea people were so foul! really sorry to hear about that mate. very antithetical to the spirit of the show.
been happening since the yonderland days, and actually tbh before that too. had some interesting experiences on forums. it is what it is, and i enjoy my little pocket of the fandom immensely and that makes it worth the weirdos. but i agree. thank you for the love <3
lmao no i knew that, i meant why is gerard investigating piss? i haven't been properly up to date w mcr since like 2013
Idk she's into it
i think i sent you an ask abt nails confusing you w another mutual who is also a poland fan, sorry! pls tell me your feliks headcanons anyway :)
Thanks for the ask! It's been awhile since I've answered any asks about Feliks
So I always feel like Feliks is at least pretty decent with painting particularly pattern designs so I think he would enjoy nail art.
I think he would do traditional patterns like these
And sometimes he has those extremely long ones just to piss people off
Feliks definitely pulls out a bobby pin and does nail art in the middle of meetings
I think every once in awhile he successfully gets Liet or Gilbert to allow him to do their nails
please i need thoughts about pol for my office au!!
So I have actually written an office workplace at so I actually have thought of what Feliks would be like as 9 to 5 cubicle employee.
My first thought would be that he would be the receptionist that his entire job is just pointing people in the right direction in the building. Since this doesn't take much effort it gives him a lot of time to fuck around, do his nails while gossiping with other employees or playing online poker.
But I also feel like Feliks can be potentially a successful worker in like actual office work. I think in this scenario it could be really funny if Liet is panicking trying to get things done to perfection and Feliks cuts three dozen corners and somehow the higher ups give Feliks the promotion which he didn't actually want.
I see Feliks being quite good with problem solving and innovation so I could see him doing something in that sector.
Side note I totally see Tolys being unfortunately promoted to Ivan's personal assistant. Because he is so competent in his work that Ivan pulls that classic upper managerial move and delegates 90% of the work to Tolys.
I feel like if you have Feliks actually putting in the work in effort in a job usually he will be a dork about it. Like he should really have more notes in his file for snarky comebacks but he manages to do what he's told so people put up with it.
I think Hetalia unironically is so good for depicting bureaucratic office hell. Especially with the Eastern Europeans.
I think this kind of insane weird kitsch fits. if he doesn't actually do much work I feel like it would be neat and cutesy because that's what he spends his day doing. Stealing Tolys or Gilbert's pens and making his desk look cute.
If he does work the execution of the cutesieness is incredibly chaotic. It stresses gil out looking at it.
I love that that one picture was posted in r/airforce that's Feliks energy
If we are going with Lietpol in office space, I think their relationship has ups and downs mainly because Tolys doesn't know how to say no to constant work loads and gets so stressed out that he's like Feliks you do nothing and whether or not that's true depends on what you have Feliks doing.
Polpru i feel like would low-key be workplace harassment IRL but since this is fiction, HR can fuck off. Gil slaps his ass or takes one of his pens so Feliks infects Gilbert's computer with malware.
In Hetalia is the UN basically the incompetent HR department?
how dare you try to make me look my 7 WIPs in the eye
Lmao I completely forgot about my own WIP I wish I had seven WIPs
