His past as royalty is essentially irrelevant, and main story follows as Eugene was once the first mate of a ship manned by her younger adoptive sister Khuli, sharing a place on board with his other little brother Rogelio (all adopted siblings, Eugene spends 10 years with them)
The three get separated in a tragic cyclone that takes down the ship, the three miraculously the only to survive in their own ways, going on the next 7 years of their lives believing they’re all dead until Rogelio bumps into Eugene again at a bar <:] they set off on this !!
