“Flowers get used by kingdoms a lot, don’t they. Arendelle has the crocus.” Olaf leaned in and whispered, “Did you know the crocus is featured on Minoan wall art?”
“I did not know that,” Elsa replied. “Did you read that in one of the books?”
“Yes. There was another story but Mr. Anfin said I was too young to read it. It was the myth of the Minotaur! I got to the part about the Queen being cursed by the gods and that’s when he took the book away.”
Elsa covered her hand with her mouth, silently thanking Anfin for intervening. Could a snowman grow up? How young was too young for some of the myths of the world? “If you find anything about the god Zeus, come to me or Mr. Anfin before you read it, okay? Actually, pretty much anything Greek. Or Roman. Or Egyptian. Or Norse.”
Rubbing her temple, she clarified, “Actually, why don’t I ask Anfin to set aside a whole bunch of books on ancient myths from around the world just for you? And then when you’re older and more mature, you can read the really–” Saucy “ –in depth histories.”
