Thinking back at Yuri!!! On Ice after that decade is being reminded that Viktor and Yurio are currently competing without a flag or national anthem due to the Russian ban since 2022.

Further than that, let's pray Yurio did his year of conscription (mandatory russian military time) in 2019, when he turned 18, before the war broke out.

Putin has said that conscripts will not be used in the war, but we have reason to believe a dictator may lie.

So, yes, there's a somewhat chance that our baby boy Yuri Plisetsky got drafted into the military mid-war.

Viktor was 27 in 2016, meaning he most certainly already has done his mandatory military time.

My brain: the reason why Viktor and Yuuri are still engaged and never got married even after all these years is not only because Mappa abandoned them, but because neither Russia nor Japan allow for same sex marriage. They legally cannot marry in neither of their countries.
