I totality understand what you mean by the potential sexual tension between Eren and Jean. Even Sasha joked around saying that there is something going on between them, so I don't think it is that unbelievable to have that interpretation from a 3rd person POV.

Exactly. Thank you. I always forget about that part myself because the anime cut it off but it’s there. 

I think they both enjoyed getting physical with each other like that. I mean, there’s been a few instances where you can tell Jean was literally enjoying himself, or he would bait Eren on purpose. So it did seem like he had a crush at times (you know, one of those where the guy bullies the person he likes because he doesn’t wanna admit it). But I think Eren was just grateful to have someone to vent at so it was a win-win situation for both of them lol. 

Either way, I just really like their dynamics, and the point stands that at least one other character in the story interpreted their interactions as sexual/romantic.

Those panels showing Eren and Zeke's eyes towards the end of the chapter seem to be foreshadowing things to me. I feel like Eren is gonna break out of the cell or something.

Oh I like the manga so much better. After Eren wakes up following the Battle of Trost, he actually asks about his friends’ wellbeing.

I'm really really unreasonably angry about the translation of episode 18 of snk. Like it just really pisses me off how awful it was.
