Pffft, why would I kill you when this ask is the perfect opportunity for me to use the new 126 panel of Erwin. I can’t believe the chapters been out for almost 24 hours and it’s not on my blog yet.

The panel is a callback to chapter 49 where Erwin encourages everyone to devote their hearts and reminds them that the fate of humanity depended on them. He lost his arm just a few moments later.

Back in Chapter 27, Armin realized that Erwin was capable of changing things because he willing to throw away everything dear to him. Armin wasn't horrified at this concept. In fact, he seemed to admire it.

In one sense, giving up your life it easy. There's no morality involved. You are simply a hero. But giving up your principles and morals is a more painful process.

Armin uses Bertholt's affection for Annie as a weapon against him. He tells Bertholt that Annie is being tortured, that they are inflicting pain on her in every way they know how. He tells her she is screaming in pain.

Bertolt reacts in horror, stepping forward and giving Commander Erwin the opportunity he needs to free Eren.

Commander Erwin is leading his soldiers into a sea of Titans.

"Is this hell?", asks Jean, looking around in disbelief at the horror that surrounds him.

"No", Erwin replies, "We're just getting started!"

Moments later Erwin's arm is ripped away by a Titan. Mikasa and Jean consider returning to help him. Notice the change in his expression. Pain is coupled with determination. He is dangling from the Titan's mouth, but his message is more forceful than ever -  "ADVANCE!!"
