My favorite parts of the show tonight (10/24):
-Kenan with the giant swear jar in the monologue.
-The whole psychic sketch. Everybody was really good in it, especially Kate.
-Chad! This wasn’t the best of Chad’s appearances, but it’s always really fun to see him.
-Adele blessing us with her singing! Her voice is just so beautiful! Probably the highlight of my week.
-Melissa finally getting to be in a sketch!
-Also Melissa on Weekend Update! She seemed to have a lot of funny stuff happen to her over quarantine.
-VILLAGE PEOPLE! Everything about that segment was great, from Kenan singing to Beck ripping his shirt open, to Bowen dancing so hard, to Mikey and Chris vibing in the back.
-Special shoutout to Alex Moffat popping up! When he leaped across the screen I literally screamed. Favorite part of the show hands down. (Can you tell i’m an Alex stan?)
-It’s so good to see Pete just do some straight acting without breaking. He’s grown up a lot!
-Adele’s character break! I think it was the first of the season.
-Beck in the perfume jeans sketch. 🔥 🔥
-Alex and Melissa hugging during goodnights. You can tell they are such good friends :)
-Also shoutout to Alex and his wife because she announced today that they are expecting their first child! Congrats!
Overall thoughts: Pretty good show! I feel like SNL is back to being itself again! Adele was pretty good for her first time hosting!
Watch Connor Storrie comedically crawl in his underwear in SNL's "Stripper" sketch, inspired by a character he performed as a clown.
Actor Connor Storrie's accent-showcasing Saturday Night Live promo was enough to assure viewers that he'd crush his February 28 hosting debut. But despite the fact that he only rose to fame last year, Storrie also rolled up to 30 Rock with a lot of training under his belt.
"I've only technically been a professional actor for like six months now," Storrie joked during his SNL monologue. "But on the other hand, I've been preparing for this my entire life." That preparation includes training at L.A.'s Groundlings theater, which gave us many SNL alums including Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, and Maya Rudolph, and performing in the city's local clown scene. He even brought his own character to Saturday Night Live: The ripped yet mangled "Stripper."
What makes the sketch all the more incredible is that fact that Storrie brought the character to the show. He described the character in a December 2025 Cultured profile, in which he says he got involved with L.A.'s indie clown scene, (think "experimental theater," not "birthday party."). Storrie told the outlet that working as a clown onstage taught him to be, as Culture put it, "unflinching in the face of exposure, both emotional and physical."
It was in that scene that he first performed as a birthday stripper who's struck en route to a party. "I come in trying to be all sexy, but all of my limbs are broken," Storrie told Culture.
Heated Rivalry viewers have seen most of Storrie's body onscreen as Ilya Rozanov, but they'd never seen it like this (contorted, and streaked with stage blood). The final sketch of the night was a 4-minute, 49-second live wire act in which Storrie gave 110 percent full commitment.
Four friends (Ashley Padilla, Jane Wickline, Sarah Sherman, and Veronika Slowikowska) are in Las Vegas for a bachelorette party, and they've hired some talent for the evening. Unlike Ben Marshall and Josh O'Connor's cardigan-clad soft boy strippers, this one's ready to go in his plumber outfit. Except for the fact that he has to pull himself across the floor with a plunger, because he was "hit by a small car" on the way there.
"Who wants to see my abs?" he asks, as the screams from the SNL audience answer him. Storrie bent his body in wild ways, screaming and falling as one gal rips his tearaway pants. His crowning achievement is throwing his legs over Sherman's shoulder for a "lap dance," but begging for a tourniquet.
It's a good thing fan-favorite Ryan Gosling is hosting this weekend, because Storrie proved a VERY tough act to follow.
“Overall, Storrie did a fantastic job hosting Saturday Night Live. Hopefully, Storrie will do more comedy, because he’s proven he really can do it all.”
