I just wanted to express how much I appreciated your Son of Oz story; I'm sorry to see that it’s discontinued, but that's something that may happen with writing, what with lack of desire and all I totally understand. I also finished reading your other story, Unknown Son, and oh my lanta, was it a roller coaster of emotions! I loved every second of it. Words cannot explain my admiration for you and your ability to tell a narrative.

Yes, unfortunately Son of Oz is discontinued. I frankly just lost steam for it as I haven't been engaging in much RWBY content recently. The ending to V8 and the animated Fairytales shorts both left a bad taste in my mouth. I just... REALLY didn't like them. I could go on about it I guess but that sounds exhausting and there are better analysts out there. Anyways, I don't have much of a desire to go back to the show currently, though that might change depending on what goes down next volume.
As for Son of Oz, I'm not sure if I should hand the fic off to someone else or not. I know that was a thing on FF.net back in the day, was that authors could put the fic up for adoption to be continued by somebody who wanted it. idk if that still goes on anymore, but I might give an explanation of where I was headed with the story and then hand it off to be someone else's baby. If they want it. They can edit it, move things around, continue it, whatever they wanna do--I really don't mind.
If nobody wants it tho, that's perfectly fine, too. It can just sit where it is. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be struck with the desire to give it another shot. I just can't really see that happening any time in the near future though.
As for Unknown Son, I could not have done it without @theangelofangst! Writing with Angel was honestly some of the most fun I've ever had in a fandom and she carried us the last leg of the way! So ya'll be sure to show her some love, too! :>
