How to care for a Snom
Hello everyone. I’ve noticed that over the past two months, a new little buddy has become a very popular pet or support animal. This is, of course, the beloved Snom. I’ve done some research based on how my Snom behaves and how to properly care for them, and I’m going to share my findings with you all.
Snom are very soft creatures, with the exception of their hardened icy shell. Because they are so soft, they are also very prone to being hurt. Please do not drop your Snom or put it near dangerous objects.
Snom eats with its two puffy mandibles on its face. They are very sensitive. DO NOT TOUCH SNOM’S MANDIBLES UNLESS YOU WANT TO UPSET YOUR SNOM.
Because of Snom’s sensitive mandibles, they cannot eat tough foods. Snom’s food must be soft and cold as to not raise the body temperature. This would melt Snom’s outer shell, leaving it vulnerable. A Snom’s diet in the wild consists of powdery snow, small mushy berries, and cold water. If you live in an area that does not get much snow, you can give your Snom mushed refrigerated berries and cold tap water or melted ice cubes. Snow cones are also acceptable, but do not put flavor syrup on them. It’s bad for Snom’s digestive system.
Because Snom is an ice type, it needs to be kept cold. If you do not live in a snowy area, you can turn a large cooler into a pen for your Snom. If you don’t have one available, you can put your Snom in a cushioned box in the freezer. Do not put human food in the same refrigerator as Snom’s pen. Snom might try to eat it, and that would be bad for its digestive system and soft mandibles.
Snom like to perch on flat surfaces, especially ones that are slick with ice. They can sit in the same place for hours, even days at a time if they wish. Make sure you have a Snom perch in your home that is kept cold and away from the windows. Make sure it is not too far off the ground, because if Snom falls its shell will most likely be damaged. Snom shells do not grow back.
I found the best site, it is 2 am, and god can’t stop me
