Experience the beauty of Snoqualmie River running through the mountain side with trees and mountains in the background....
I don't know what to do with my hands, just going with the flow. #snoqualmieriver #northbend #seattle #naturewalks🌿 #oldgrowthforest #pnw https://www.instagram.com/p/CaPDdcALsaI/?utm_medium=tumblr
It was not a sunny day; nor was a rainy day, it was a day with a full complement of partially silver-lined clouds, the vestiges of sun rays peeking through the clouds made it all that more interesting. Snoqualmie Falls, a 268-foot vertical descent of torrential waters crashing into the rocks below as if in a hurry to embrace the ground. The impact of the water on the rocks creates a mist so massively dense around the top of the falls that at times it seems as if clouds came by to enjoy such astonishing sight. You all be safe out there, no telling what covid-19 is up to. . __________•**********•__________ . #snoqualmieriver #snoqualmievalley #snoqualmiepass #snoqualmiewashington #snowualmievalley #culttelivision #twinpeaks #traditionalculture #traditionalcultures #nationalregisterofhistoricplaces #snoqualmieindiantribe #salishlodge #hydroelectric #hydroelectricplant (at Snoqualmie Falls, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBokHIglu9R/?igshid=1rymnjylc0zdu

Snoqualmie Falls has indigenous cultural significance. I feel like these little educational posters are very superficial actions to show respect to the Snoqualmie peoples who lived here before, but it's a start, and made me aware of the significance of these falls. It was also cool to see words written in Salish in some of the facilities. #snoqualmiefalls #snoqualmieriver #snoqualmie #Washington #snoqualmiepeople #indigenouseducation #culturalsignificance (at Snoqualmie Falls)
The trees above the river need the river to grow above. #trees #river #snoqualmieriver #snoqualmie #Washington #travellinggays (at Snoqualmie, Washington)
The trees form this formidable barricade. Impenetrable. I've never seen such lush greenery in the mountains. #trees #forest #barricade #lush #green #river #snoqualmieriver #snoqualmie #Washington #travellinggays (at Snoqualmie, Washington)
