About 3/4s of the way in Fallout because I love me the Techie/Field Agent ship archetype

• my thoughts:

Ethan and Benji are just going through it and they need some love in their lives. THey’re really adorable together in canon as well and they just make me super happy.

• What makes me happy about them:

Their kindness and loyalty to each other. It’s just nice that Ethan doesn’t act like a jerk with his friends and does truly appreciate Benji.

• What makes me sad about them:

they have so much unaddressed trauma. No one talks about any of it????

• things done in art/fic that annoys me:

Woobiefying Benji full stop. Not a trend I see often anymore but it still annoys me.

• things I look for in art/fic:

The both of them being happy not having to deal with all the angst. (They say, having written their fair share of angst. I prefer writing it rather than reading it myself cause I’m in control HAHAHA)

• Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

I’d very much like Benji to have a nice boyfriend. I don’t know if I’d want Ethan in another romantic relationship, but maybe he and Luther can ride out into the sunset. I’d be cool with that.

• My happily ever after for them:

They retire to Ethan’s family farm in Wisconsin, get married and adopt two kids: Isobel and Peter. They grow old together and live out the rest of their lives in relative peace.

• what is their favorite non-sexual activity

Hugging/Cuddling. I perceive them to be very starved of genuine human touch in general so they enjoy a nice cuddle when they can, sorta like a human weighted blanket.

Benji Dunn for the character ask if you don't mind?

SEND ME A CHARACTER AND I’LL DO THIS; Benji Dunn Sexuality Headcanon: Homosexual. Gender Headcanon: Cis Man. Although trans and or non binary Benji would be neat. An Au where both Benji and Ethan are trans is even neater. Benji does strike me as a guy who tried eye shadow before, not really sure why.... Also chill with people using they/them pronouns for himself no matter the verse, helps other people practice. A ship I have with said character: Benji x Ethan A BROTP I have with said character: Benji and Ilsa A NOTP I have with said character: I dunno W*lker x Benji I guess? A random headcanon: Benji collects music, Cds, tapes, records, and sort of physical media he can get his hands on. He really wants to hang up some posters of bands he likes, but he hasn't found the time. General Opinion over said character: Benji really comes into his own. But like... dude if something is bugging you, Benji, ya gotta say it. Over all love Benji, I love him so much.

5. Who says ‘I love you’ first?

there are many different ways that i've imagined it happening, but i think i'm more inclined for it to be ethan. benji has gotten so good at hiding his feelings from ethan that i don't think he'd say it unless ethan does first, and ethan...he'll get around to it, once he figures it out. he always does, in the end.
