I posted this on Twitter and fb already but I wanted to do so here too..

An upstate New York I got about two to two and a half feet of snow

Super easy hack

Step one: get your car mats

Step two: wedge one under each front tire

(if you have four mats you could probably put car mats in front of the back tires too for extra bonus hack)

Step three: drive. Carefully.

The mats should help you catch traction and get out. Note : you may have to repeat this process a few times until you in the clear... And it may fuck up your car mats a little but it's a small sacrifice

Okay guys here's a life hack for you

My dad saw on tv that if you mix a solution of three parts rubbing alcohol to one part water, put it in a spray bottle, and spray it on your windshield, it won't freeze. He did it on my car before the snow yesterday and in the morning I didn't even have a fine coating of snow on my windshield.

This is the real deal. Save yourself some time and trouble!
