It's cold outside.

This is just a reminder for anyone living in a place dealing with weather below 32 degrees fahrenheit to be careful when doing things outside. This morning around 7am I'm taking the trash out to the big trash can in the backyard just briefly on the flurry coverd deck and then I take one step inside and my foot slides foward. This then causes my body to fall and I land right knee first and it will bruise later I just know it. Add to the fact that this is also northeast Texas so we are not used to this sort of thing because it was a rare occurrence.

I haven’t posted in forever because I moved in late summer and haven’t played much. But I just spent a week stuck at home because of the weather so I might actually attempt to do something other than work and sleep...

there is a massive snow storm going on right now PLUS thunder and lightning. my internet connection can’t decide if it wants to be on or off. luckily the power is still on (so far!). so if I disappear for a while blame the snow.

This morning someone was praising the rain and someone commented that it was too warm and it would melt the snow in the Sierra and I'm thinking so? water is water and I suddenly just now realized they were talking about skiing and not the drought.
