there was a lot about being back in stowe that apollo didn’t like. he’d left his life here behind when he went away to pittsburgh, never looking back -- but here he was, walking down the street with a cup of coffee in his hand, eyeing all of the tiny shops that lined the street that seemed different now that he was an adult. the cheesy christmas shops felt touristy, the coffee shop overpriced, it was all different. his eyes traveled to what appeared to be a group of college kids in town for their last chance to go down the slopes at snowcliffe before it closed. he caught sight of a familiar face not far down the sidewalk and made his way over to them. “is it just me or is this place crawling with more tourists this year?”
