Ok funny idea...the cookies are roaming when they see a human, on all fours just eating dirt and when they try to approach, they run away as if they were running from something that's hunting them...sorta like a prey animal lol!

Inspiration for a fic lol!

The cookies finding a human just...eating dirt...wonder if they'll just try to avoid them or be like 'hey...wait that isn't healthy for a human to eat dirt...poor little human...we gotta help em!'

Honestly, big human or little human, the biggest thing a friendly human would be a threat against would probably be inanimate objects and building materials. Like, the sugar gnomes would have to keep you from absconding with building materials and you would be the first suspect if a cookie finds a suspicious bite mark in certain structures. You're like a fleshy termite. Plus, any effort to put you in jail/cage/cuffs would be moot, because you would eat your way out of those as well. XD "Yes sir! We finally got them and I ran to get you as soon as possible--" (Sees that the cage has a large hole eaten into it) "IT GOT AWAY?!!" Teeth are very useful in getting out of plenty of situations. Nets, cages, pit traps, and snares will probably have a lesser effectiveness on them because they can just eat the material and leave. Biggest issue with trying to catch stray humans.

What is your favorite hero breaks tropes? I know it's kinda a trope itself but wondered what your favorite hero breaking down things are...sorry if that sounds weird just saw the asks about tropes and got curious...mine is where the hero breaks and the villain finds them broken and that leads into a ship!

hmmm okay let’s see

when it’s bad

the hero breaking down alone in their home, late at night, where no one else cans see them, because of all the responsibilities piled on their shoulders (relatable mood anyone?)

the hero breaks down mid fight with their nemesis (especially if their nemesis is verbally degrading them)

the hero has been kidnapped/is being threatened with torture and they’re just so fucking scared and they can’t cope 

when the hero fails to save a civilian (ESPECIALLY someone they knew personally) and the guilt is killing them

when it’s getting better

their nemesis causes them to break down, PANICS, and is forced to comfort them/hype them back up

when their sidekick or kid finds them crying and immediately starts trying their very best to cheer them back up (it’s so so sweet!)

when a whole team of people who they’ve helped all come together to help get them back on their feet and look after the hero like the hero previously looked after them

Had an idea for a story for a long time that I shared with some friends and thought I'd share with you...it's sorta based off the stories of y/n turning into a cookie but more...realistic and bloody and with more potential for hurt/comfort.

Imagine if the reader was a human the cookies adored (lore for this if you want, y/n acts like a gentle giant and just observes the cookies and stays far away so they don't hurt anyone but when cookies do approach em...they are kind and gentle. Like treat everything as if it was as fragile as a butterfly, beliving living sweets shouldnt be eaten but loved...just like the witch who created earthbread in witch's castle) and they decide to bring y/n to their world...y/n being a human living with the witches or is a witch themselves... so the cookies enact a plan to bring y/n to themselves...

Y/n wakes up one night to cookies in their home...no big deal right? Maybe they came to say hello...they try to get up buuuuut quickly realized: the cookies found a way to tie them down!

That's when y/n notices the knife the cookies have on a rope over their bed...cue screams of terror, flood of apologies for whatever they did to the living cookies, begging not to die then...knife drops right onto y/n's throat. Dead...

...cookies use moon Magic to grab y/n's soul and, using the discovery of how to make living cookies thanks to matcha and butter roll, transfer the soul into dough...then bake it...but make sure to pull it out before y/n wakes up because they didn't want y/n to feel the terror of running out of an oven.

Later...y/n wakes up in the hospital, surrounded by cookies constantly checking their vitals and making sure nothing went wrong during the transformation or anything. Y/n is confused, ofcourse: they just died so how are they alive? Where are they? Why are the cookies suddenly human si-

They notice a reflective surface...HOLY SH- THEY ARE A COOKIE! cue panic and stuff...

Later on...can imagine the cookies would flock to try to help y/n walk again (even offer to carry them and stuff)...ofcourse they will have cookies helping them with the mental terror of being murdered by the sweets you love because they wanted to do the phrase 'one of us'...

And yeah...curious what you think of this and your take on this concept lol!

Just the concept of a human in their world is intresting...but what if the cookies want you to be one of them AND stay in their world? Yeah this method is a little more...bloody. but hey, the witches that were turned into cookies did so to be saved from death in witch's castle so...

This is a very interesting concept indeed! It's kind of a like a more violent version of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, in which Y/N remembers being human and knows that the cookie they are in isn't their real body. I think in relation to this concept--I personally believe that this version of Y/N would be more prone to corruption/falling to darkness because they believed that cookiekind had betrayed them. If you gave nothing but love and kindness to a race that eventually murders you against your will, I think anyone would be spiteful or grieving in response to such a horrific act. Plus, since they still have a witch soul inside of them, I think the difference in power-level would interfere with their body or how they manage their magic abilities. I imagine that their mana would leak through their dough and be painful to a certain degree. They would probably have less control over their powers in a smaller body and high-strung emotions can cause flare ups or damage to their form. That's not even going into if they miss their old human form. Which has either rotted away or turned into a skeleton by that point, which doesn't help their grief. I envision that they would be rather reclusive and reluctant to trust cookies after what they did to them. Because their story is a sad one, a tragedy in it's own right, and if Y/N feels justified in lashing out at the cookies who did such harm to them...well, we may have another beast or raging witch cookie on their hands. But, I digress. I really enjoyed this bit of lore and story from you! Thank you for sharing it with me! <: )

Ok gonna reveal it was me who sent this idea...

Now I feel like I need a fic of these shenanigans like I can also imagine (sharing ideas both for laughs and potential fic ideas...for either one fic or multiple...maybe one cookie sized human and one human sized...human. good at making senarios but not good with writing...also your writing is amazing and adored your last fic so ye!)....or im curious your thoughts lmao:

Idea 1, human sized human:

Human: *runs away screaming!*

Cookies: *runs away screaming!*

Human, looking back and realizes they are running opposite way: oh thank God, they must not be hungry! ^-^

*cookies suddenly pause...and have a convo that y/n can't hear because they are too tiny...said convo is cookies realizing y/n is more afraid of them then they are of y/n...cue turn around and suddenly start chasing!*

Human: NEVERMIND, THEY WANNA EAT ME!

*cue hilarious chase...like the cute video of the guy getting chased by ducklings!*

Idea 2, human sized human:

Gingerbrave: human, come down! We all worked together to bake you this giant peace offering cupcake!

Human: how do I know it's not poisoned to kill me?

Gingerbrave: y/n, none of us want to eat you!

Y/n: that's what someone who wants to eat me would say!

(Maybe cupcake is a peace offering cupcake oooor a trap like y/n says but not to kill em but instead put em into a deep sleep so they don't notice cookies climbing up to their safe spot.)

*at last...after the 3 days stand still...y/n slowly starts to get down and the cookies start to light up in glee.*

Chef, running out of a tent: hey everyone, I finally found my knife set and my recipe for amazing meat pies in celebration of getting y/n down!

*y/n, hearing that and assuming THEY were the meat and not knowing the chef meant jelly meat, IMMEDIETLY scooted back to their spot, looking twice as paniked as before! the cookies all stared at the chef...like 'are you freaking kidding me right now?'*

Chef: ...oops? ^-^'

Idea 5, human sized human:

*one super strong cookie had lifted a tree and was now waving it at y/n...*

cookie: come on, come on down! Take the tasty tree!

Cookie 2: are you seriously trying to lure them down with a tree?

Cookie: you got any better ideas for treats? We already tried a (cake monster/cakehound) but they cried, saying they were too cute to eat...so we have to result to things that aren't alive or cute! Trees are neither cute nor alive so...

Cookie 2: ....we need a better lure. -_-'

LMAO! Like I said, there's a lot of various routes that these AUs can go down depending on the timeline.

The poor human is lost in a world where they believe that these sweet little inhabitants are "vicious human eating machines that take them down in packs". Then the cookies are like "OMG the witches are wondering around and trying to eat cookies in the world!!" and there's just so much confusion and tension and shenanigans. XD Depending on the size of the human, lots of things can be very different! It's mostly up to what you prefer or what you would believe will happen if something is a certain way. I do love these little idea nugget. They are such tasty snacks to me. <: )

Bet if the human saw the cookies in white...they'd be terrified and thinking they've come to kill em. Thinking those cookies are gonna ritually sacrifice em!

The human would probably keep a subtle eye on them and watch out for any type of hostile behavior towards their cookie companions. The cookies did say that assassins are a thing and that most are either masked or cloaked in a way. The giant takes great care to look after their charges come nightfall. Plus, if the Order is involved, you know that the Republic will get involved as well. As they are trying to locate the order and find out anything about the white masked cookies. Hearing that the friendly giant is drawing them out of hiding, and that their sightings have significantly increased in Crispia because of that, that will be a whole other can of worms for the poor human to deal with. Thankfully, they can't really go to the republic, as it is a small island and too heavily populated. So the human just waits around on the mainland until the cookies get back from the Republic.

(OOC: first, thank you so much! I’ve always been kind of wishy-washy about my art style so reading your ask made me smile :) As for my inspiration, I really wanted to do a re-telling of Sgt Sprinkles’ Cupcakes. I got hella baked and really thought about this fanfic I’d read over a decade ago, about that particular line where Pinkie tells Dash that “[she doesn’t] make the rules, your number just came up!” I thought, well, who does she do it for? Surely not herself. So many have made Pinkie a little (or a lot) crazy because, imo, it’s easy? I wanted to give my Cupcakes!Pinkie a little more depth. Canon Pinkie is very suggestible. So, stoned af, I remembered her rock farm background and ‘Amish’ parents. And I thought, wouldn’t it be fucked up if her dad was a small-time religious cult leader? And Pinkie’s Pinkie Sense made her father think she was touched by god and groom her to be the next cult leader? And I thought that was pretty sick. I could go on, but I’d ramble into giving everything away 😉
