It was, without a doubt, too cold... For him. If he could feel- anything -it was certainly the cold. Which was better than sweltering heat, but when it was cold enough to make the top layer of snow, ice. Well. He wasn’t particularly happy with it.
Bundled in a winter trench coat and earmuffs, he could already tell his nose was turning red. The desire to feel again was being taken too literally by his body. Narrowed eyes glanced around, with the knowledge that not just one thing... but a few were out there. From his reclining seat in the bare tree branches, he didn’t see much. Just snow and pine trees sporting hefty bundles of the stuff.
Moments later, he got intimate with it. A cold blast hit him from the side of his head and he wiped his head around... but couldn’t see anything that could have done it. Eyes took to the skies and he looked around, but there was nothing so much as a rabbit’s footprint in the snow. Finally coaxed out of his laziness (that may have been drawing him into becoming a popsicle), Sephiroth jumped out of the tree and landed neatly on top of the icy snow, not so much as making a print in it. Now was as good as any a time to defy gravity’s wishes, least he wanted to have the snow come up to his thighs.. And he hated wet socks.
The grumpy ex-General decided that poking around the pine trees would yield him better luck if he wanted to find any guilty party... While behind him, the shimmer of snow shifted as if something followed at a distance.
“I should have bought a scarf...”
