My Kasa7 WRONG PATH AU (original)
I've been imagining a Kasa7 bad ending AU, and it might go a little something like this.
Tsukasa completes his method acting from kasa7, and is in a vulnerable state. Seeing this, Sakaki offers to take Tsukasa under his wing as a "young prodigy". He agrees, since he's still under the belief that no one remembers/cares about him. The other members of wxs would try to make him reconsider, with Emu telling Tsukasa that they're here for him, and that they would never forget him. But they are too late, Tsukasa has already made up his mind.
Tsukasa goes with Sakaki, and starts growing more and more distant from his friends. He would probably still perform with them, but his mood would be noticibly different. He would be less energetic since he's constantly tired, and would probably be pretty less enthusiastic when performing. Since he's begun losing his love for it.
Since Sakaki started coaching him, Tsukasa's finding that Rui's methods are becoming ineffective, and can't let him reach his full potential. This frustrates Tsukasa, and makes him lash out more often. It eventually ends with Tsukasa accusing Rui of holding him back on purpose, saying that "Sakaki would never let my talents be wasted like that!"
Rui had been trying to direct him differently, but he couldn't reach Sakaki's level. He simply couldn't force himself to emotionally manipulate a dear friend like that. He couldn't necessarily deny what Tsukasa said either, since it's true that Sakaki's methods, no matter how unethical, gave results unlike anything Rui had seen from Tsukasa before.
Tsukasa doesn't have time to dwell on this incident, since he's constantly occupied with Sakaki's strict schedule. But despite what Tsukasa tries to tell himself, he's still deeply affected by what happened that day.
Seeing that Tsukasa started checking his phone more than usual, Sakaki tells him that it feels as if he's been "losing focus" as of late, and that maybe they should take a break. This terrifies Tsukasa, who interprates this as Sakaki giving up on him. He pleads with him that he doesn't need a break, and that he will do anything to get his "focus" back. Sakaki smirks, and notes that, if he wants to make this show truly unforgettable, then he should start ignoring whatever or whoever it is that's making him distracted.
This leads Tsukasa to distance himself from his friends. Being led to believe that they are a distraction that's keeping him from reaching his true potential. He declines invitations from them to hang out, and eventually he stops replying to them entirely.
Tsukasa now fully believes that they are only gonna hold him back, and that the only way to move forward, is with Sakaki..
And he's proven correct.
Eventually, news starts spreading about former wxs member, Tsukasa Tenma. A young prodigy who is able to portray his roles with such realism, you wouldn't be able to tell he was even acting. Made possible with the talent and direction of the incredible Sakaki Koryu.
Tsukasa did it.. he's achieved stardom, he makes people smile, laugh, and cry. Everyone looks up to him.. Everyone remembers him..
This is exactly what Tsukasa wanted..
But then.. why?
Why does he still feel.. so empty..?
[Heres what I think would happen to the rest of WxS after this incident.]

You and Yoonchae never put a name to what you were.
It existed in the in-between: late nights in the library, shared earbuds on the walk back to the dorms, the way she always saved you a seat even when you never asked. It was the way she remembered how you took your coffee, the way you leaned into her without thinking, the way silence between you never felt awkward.
If anyone asked, you said friends.
You said it easily. Casually. Like it didn’t cost you anything.
“Are you two dating?” someone asked once, watching the way Yoonchae laughed at something you whispered in her ear.
You snorted. “What? No. We’re just close.”
Yoonchae smiled beside you. A second too late.
You didn’t see the way her shoulders stiffened after. You didn’t notice how she pulled her hand away from yours when you stood up, or how she started leaving earlier than usual, claiming she had things to do.
And even when you did notice, you didn’t question it.
You kept doing the same things anyway—resting your head on her shoulder during movie nights, texting her at 2 a.m. when you couldn’t sleep, getting jealous when other people got too much of her attention.
You gave her everything except honesty.
Yoonchae tried to make sense of it.
Some days, she was sure you liked her. The way your voice softened when you said her name. The way you looked for her in crowded rooms. The way you touched her was like it was instinct.
Other days, she remembered the way you laughed off the idea of being anything more.
So she told herself she was imagining it.
She stopped asking questions she was afraid of the answers to. She stopped leaning in first. She stopped hoping.
You didn’t notice right away. When you did, you told yourself she was just busy. Growing. Changing. That people drift apart in college—it was normal.
By the time the semester was nearing its end, you felt the distance like a bruise you kept pressing on.
“Hey,” you said one evening, catching up to her outside the lecture hall. “Did I do something?”
Yoonchae looked at you for a long moment before answering. “No.”
You waited for more. It never came.
Finals passed in a blur. Campus emptied. One afternoon, someone mentioned—offhand, careless—that Yoonchae had accepted an exchange program abroad.
“She leaves right after the semester,” they said. “She’s really excited.”
Your stomach dropped.
You found her sitting outside the library, sunlight warming her face. She looked peaceful. Free.
“You’re leaving,” you said.
She nodded. “Yeah.”
“When were you going to tell me?”
She hesitated. “I thought… it didn’t really matter.”
That hurt more than you expected.
That night, alone in your room, the truth finally settled in.
You missed her when she wasn’t around. You felt wrong when she pulled away. You cared when she laughed with someone else. You had loved her quietly, cowardly, without ever claiming it.
You liked her.
You always had.
You just realized it too late.
You typed out a message. Deleted it. Typed another. Deleted that too. Every version sounded selfish. Like an apology that came only because you were losing her.
You had rehearsed it in your head for weeks. Every word, every pause, every trembling breath—you were finally ready.
You were going to tell her. Finally.
You spotted Yoonchae sitting on the steps outside the library, sunlight catching the edges of her hair, soft and warm. Your chest tightened, your stomach twisted, and your throat went dry.
This was it.
“Yoonchae—I’ve—” you started, voice trembling, words spilling out before you could think twice.
And then he appeared.
A boy you barely knew stepped up beside her, smiling. Before you could even process it, he leaned in and pressed a quick kiss to Yoonchae’s cheek. Her laugh rang softly in the air, casual and warm, like nothing had changed—but it shattered you.
The words in your mouth froze. The confession you had spent months rehearsing, every late-night thought and quiet daydream, didn’t have a chance to leave your lips.
Yoonchae glanced at you, a flicker of something—recognition, maybe regret?—crossing her face, but it was gone almost instantly. She looked back at him, calm, composed, polite. Decent. Not excited, not guilty, just… normal.
You swallowed hard, forcing your lips into a tight smile, voice catching. “Congrats,” you murmured, barely above a whisper. “You two… look good together.”
Her eyes met yours for a brief second, polite and even, and she nodded. “Thanks,” she said softly. Nothing more. No apology, no explanation, no spark of what could have been.
You stepped back, hands curling into fists at your sides, chest aching. The air between you felt impossibly heavy. You wanted to shout, to cry, to collapse right there—but all you could do was stand.
They laughed together, and every sound felt like a knife. The boy leaned slightly closer, brushing her shoulder casually, and you realized—she had already shared a space with someone else in the way you had always imagined it could be with you.
Your confession—the one that could have changed everything—remained unspoken, trapped inside your chest. You had finally found the courage to speak, and now, it was too late.
You forced yourself to take a step back, then another, until the distance between you felt safe enough to breathe. You swallowed the lump in your throat, forcing the words down. “I… I’m happy for you,” you said quietly, your voice tight, like you were holding back tears.
She gave a small smile in return, polite, decent, calm. “Thanks,” she said again. And just like that, she returned to him, and the moment was gone.
You stayed where you were, chest heavy, watching them from a distance. The sun dipped lower, casting long shadows across the quad, and for a moment, it felt like the world had stopped around you—but it hadn’t. Life moved on without you speaking, without her knowing, without anything changing between the two of you.
And yet, despite it all, a part of you couldn’t look away. You remembered every late-night study session, every laugh, every time she had rested her head on your shoulder or reached for your hand in passing. You remembered the small, quiet ways your hearts had danced around each other for months, and how you had let fear and hesitation steal the words from you.
Sometimes, heartbreak doesn’t arrive in a rush. Sometimes, it comes quietly, in polite smiles, decent gestures, and moments left unfinished. Sometimes, the timing is just… too late.
You took a deep breath and finally turned away, the weight of unsaid words pressing down on you. You didn’t call after her.
You didn’t try to fight for it. You simply walked, step by step, carrying a quiet ache with every movement—an ache that would linger long after the quad emptied and the sun disappeared.
Because sometimes, love isn’t a story with a happy ending. Sometimes, it’s a confession that never leaves your lips, a moment that passes, and a person who moves forward before you ever get the chance.
a/n: suprise!! Its actually angst😇 and posting my draft bcs i can't make part 3 of my smau series yet since i'm feeling unwell.
