How come you don't approve real-life shipping of YouTubers?

Well, I don’t approve of the shipping between two people who are actual, living people, whether they are actors, members of a music group or band, YouTubers, etc. The reason for that is because these people EXIST. It just seems morally wrong to force, even in just writing or artwork, these people into a relationship with another person who they may only like platonically, or they may not even know them to begin with (remember I didn’t include any people who are already in a relationship with one another, since that ship is sailing.)

It’s alright to fantasize about it, whether it’s imagining them with you or someone else, cuz I’d be lying if I said I didn’t ever imagine what it’d be like if I were to actually go on a date with some of these people, or what would happen if these two people ever gotten together. Though, writing about it and drawing it out, and then posting it publicly… If I were internet famous, I wouldn’t find this cute or flattering or anything, I’d start making a list of people I’d like to avoid cuz I’d think it’s very creepy. I mean, I am a human being, not a character in a tv show, video game, book, etc. I don’t NEED my fans telling me who I should involve in my life and in what way.

People can ship YTers if they want. As long as the people say it's fine then all power to the shippers. As long as the shippers know that it prob won't happen and abide by the people's wishes then I don't really see a prob with it. Like with the RT/AH fandom we make sure the people are okay with the fanfics n ships n stuff and we respect them. So as long as they're respectful to the YTs wishes it's not really offensive (in the nicest way possible I'm really trying not to sound like an ass)

Yes, but there are several YouTubers who have asked their fans to knock it off, regardless of their fans’ intentions for shipping them, yet they continue doing it and there was even a case where a fan showed up at the same con that Markiplier and Jacksepticeye went to and threatened to take their own life if they don’t get together.

I understand your point of view in this, but I just feel that shipping people who exist and are alive and are capable of making their own choices is morally wrong, regardless of what the YouTuber(s) thinks is acceptable.
