• Bluestar x Thrushpelt hypokits •

After giving away her kits to Riverclan, Bluefur spends most of her greiving process together with Thrushpelt. During this time, she realises that while she hadn't loved Thrushpelt then, she does love him now. About a year later, they had a litter of four kits.

Snowstone is a mostly white she-cat with calico spots and blue eyes. She was named after her deceased aunt and thought deceased sibling, Snowfur and Stonekit. She's peppy and excitable, if a bit of a troublemaker, who's good friends with her cousin Whitestorm. When Snowstone was an apprentice, a large branch fell on her during a storm, leaving one of her hind legs broken beyond repair but she didn't let this stop her from becoming a warrior. She's a cis/straight ally and supports her LGBTQ+ siblings with every hair in her pelt. Moss-shine is a blue-grey and white she-cat with a spotted pelt and green eyes. She was named after her deceased sibling Mosskit, which Bluestar felt unsure about as it felt like she was 'replacing' her, but Thrushpelt thought it was a nice way to remember her. Moss-shine was a the runt of the litter and almost didn't make it to her apprenticeship, even then she never grew to be quite the size of her siblings. She's normally very quiet, but this makes her a good listener. Moss-shine understands other cats emotions very well and often feels quite guilty about her inability to solve their problems for them. She's trans and neptunic. Moonmist is blue-grey with blue eyes, looking almost exactly like his mother. He acts like this mother, too - emotional and intelligent with a strong sense of justice. Moonmist is also creative and friendly, if more than a little headstrong and stubborn. Moonmist was named after his grandmother, Moonflower, and his thought dead older sister, Mistykit. Of all his siblings, Moonmist is closest with Snowstone, as they can both relate o feeling their clan is treating them differently for their disabilities. He's autistic and gay, but still in the closet. Oakspots is a pale tortoiseshell cat (non-binary) with green eyes, and the first born of the litter. They were named after Oakheart by his mother, though nobody except Bluestar herself knows it. He's brave and clever like his mother but kind and thoughtful like his father. While ambitious, he's also quite anxious and doubtful of his own abilities and doesn't work well under pressure. While he'd like to lead, he knows he's not fit for the job and is just content being a warrior for now and maybe training some apprentices. He's aro-ace and romance repulsed.

Fennwhisker- An intelligent and kind she-cat. Fennwhisker will always try and do what she believes is right, but would never undermine her leader to do so, instead she will respectfully present a well thought-out and researched argument, Fennwhisker just wants her clanmates to live in safety and peace above all else, and although she knows that peace isn’t always an option, she will do her best to try and maintain it. Fennwhisker is a good problem solver, and she is highly organised, keeping track of jobs she assigns cats with ease, she tries her best to ensure no single cat is overworked,15/10

Elmfang- A wise and courageous tom. Many cats look up to Elmfang, and with good reason, he is a respectable warrior, and is renowned for both his fearlessness in mercy in battle, he knows that showing mercy and forgiveness to your enemies can be more effective than claws could ever be. Elmfang will readily jump into danger in order to save his clanmates, or indeed any cat that needs help, regardless of where they are from, and he will never run from a fight, always fighting until the end, even if he is hopelessly outnumbered, 14/10

Taigafoot - A skilful and intelligent she-cat. Taigafoot has unusually graceful movements that are greatly admired by many cats, she moves with an almost unnatural grace in battle that ultimately serves to give her an extra edge over her opponent, as they often lose track of her movements and are surprised by the sheer strength of her blows, she’s a very powerful cat. Taigafoot is a brilliant strategist, and is a very quick thinker, often assessing situations and reacting within a heartbeat, she is highly respected by many cats, and many also hope she might become Taigastar some day, 15/10

Snowstone - An introverted and serious she-cat. Not much is known about Snowstone, she is somewhat of a mystery even to her clanmates, she largely keeps to herself and efficiently performs her duties, and when she isn’t doing anything, she will perch silently somewhere and watch the goings on in camp, it is unnerving for kits at first, but they get used to it, like everyone else has. Snowstone likes to observe the camp to take everything in, such as who speaks to who, and who avoids what, to the point she knows some of her clanmates better than they know themselves, despite rarely speaking to them outside of assigning duties , she mainly does this in order to try and know her clanmates better without having to speak to them and work out what are lies, she finds her way of getting to know cats simpler, and it allows her to more efficiently plan patrols by putting cats with those they get along with, but aren’t close enough with to get silly and mess around, she believes a clan should run as reliably as the stars appear once the sun sets, and she dislikes unpredictable scenarios that interfere with her meticulously planned out routine, but it’s never anything she can’t deal with, 15/10

I'm having trouble reminding myself that depression lies. I keep saying it like a mantra, but today is not sinking in... What do you do when that happens?

Ugh. It’s the worst, isn’t it? I’m so sorry. If you only read this far, please know that this is not forever. It’s a temporary thing because your brain chemicals are out of whack right now, and it’ll get better. I promise.

I practice cognitive behavioral therapy when this happens. It doesn’t always work, but it’s something I can do that makes me feel less helpless.

You can also go for a little walk, get some snuggle time with a dog, and make a list of at least three things that make you happy. Those are all things that help me.

But, honestly, the fact that you reached out tells me that you *know* it’s lying to you, but it’s doing a good job of being a dick and making you feel like you’re smooshed underneath its weight. That’s actually not the worst thing, because you have an opening to do some CBT and help yourself get through this.

You asked me to check in. I'm feeling better. Not all there, but better. I have been reading the Magic 2.0 series by Scott Meyer to distract myself. And thank you for your words. Hope you're feeling better too. And again thank you for being an awesome human being.

I’m really glad to know that you’re feeling better. I’ve been too busy to really get into my asks, so I see you sent this a few days ago... how are you doing today? I hope you’re continuing to improve, or at least still feeling better than you were.

Snowstone has finally started! Come read a modern day supernatural story about a pyromancer who wants to do anything but get involved with the rest of the inhuman community. After a vampire approaches her offering answers to who she is and what her abilities are, she reluctantly takes her first steps into the unknown.
