#SnowWasset Snow Wasset This creature was reported to live in North America by the lumberjacks who talked of many strange beasts they sighted during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The Snow Wasset was said to be 4 times larger than a wolverine and 40 times more active. It hibernates during the summer and warmest Winter when its fir turns green and it seeks a cranberry bush to sleep under. During the cold Winters, the Snow Wasset sheds its legs and slivers across the ground hunting for prey. It is highly carnivorous and spends most of its time underground. The Snow Wasset feels the tremors of burrowing or moving creatures above and ambushes them through the snow and drags them under to be eaten. It usually eats rabbits and rodents but when hungry it will eat wolves and creatures just as large. The skin of a Snow Wasset was once found on an Indian Canoe. This skin showed that it was from a large mammalian creature with no legs.
