Snowells Week Day 3: Future timeline Upgrade AU Caitlin and her husband, Harry, were in an accident, and then they were attacked by a gang of bandits. Harry was killed, and Caitlin was paralyzed from the waist down.  Harry's twin brother Eobard came to see her, offering her treatment (inserting a chip into her neck vertebra that would allow her to walk again). A chip with a program called “Killer frost”. After a successful operation, Caitlin discovered that the program could talk to her. It asked her to investigate her husband’s death. The results were shocking, plus Caitlin began to notice that she was losing herself in the program. - I don’t think Harry would want you to live like this. He would have done anything to keep you alive. - I can’t live without him, Eobard. - You can, but you need help and I can give it to you. I have a cure for all your problems. Her name is Killer frost. - What are you talking about? - Only that you will be beautiful and healthy soon. I promise you that.

Caitlin’s voice sounded small and worried on the other end comparing to the laughter of the last call. Harry put down the tools he’d been using and slid over to the computer. He was able to pull up her location quickly. She was at a bar about ten minutes away from the lab.

“Harry.”

“I’m on my way. Are you safe?”

“I-I think so.”

“Just stay on the phone. I’ll be there in ten.”

SnowWells Week 2019 - Day 1 - Blind Date

A/N: It’s my goal to do all of these in 300 words exactly. The first one is in!

Caitlin looked at her watch, twisted to look over her shoulder, glanced at the door to Jitters before playfully running her fingertip around the rim of her iced coffee; a Killer Frost.

The irony wasn’t lost on Harry. He’d been surprised to find her, glancing up from below the brim of his black hat when she entered the coffee shop that day, biting her lower lip and tugging at the bottom of her skirt, appearing more nervous than he’d ever seen her. And he’d seen her faced with certain death with more dignity and grace than any of the police that were actually hired to protect the city.

When she saw him, her face illuminated at seeing a familiar face and she bounded to his table, already flinging apologies to him as she sat down. “I’m sorry, I’m waiting for someone, I haven’t done this in forever. It’s just…do you mind if I wait here.” Then her eyes widened. “I’m sorry, were you waiting for someone?” A barrage of questions that Harry hadn’t had the chance to respond to, only holding out his hand to motion it was, indeed, fine that she sat down.

He watched her as the night went on, as she got her drink, as she waited for the guy she was apparently set up with on a blind date. Mentioned how she would normally never do such a thing but wanted to try something different. Watched as she continued to act like the non-appearance of her date wasn’t bothering her, but she continued to bite down on her rosy lip that he wasn’t sure was from the pressure of her teeth or the lipstick she’d put on.

Harry wondered just how long it would d take for her to figure out she was waiting for him.

Do you think there is a chance killervibe or snowells will be canon one day?

I could definitely see Killervibe being canon one day. I have this feelings that the writers are saving it for the series finale. There will be this wild, high stakes battle of epic proportions and when it’s over, everyone gets really sentimental. That’s when Cisco and Caitlin talk about their bond over the years and how they love each other, hopefully sealing it with a kiss.

Snowells I’m afraid will never be canon. I bet the writers won’t want them together because of the age gap. Even though, Caitlin and Harry are both adults, well established in their adult lives. Their ages have never been said, but it’s probably close to Tom Cavanagh and Danielle Panabaker’s ages, 54 and 30 respectively. At that point, I don’t think an age gap really matters anymore, because you’re both mature, but that’s just my opinion and I doubt the writers share it.

I tend to lean toward this more as a BROTP, but I have seen a few cute fics for them, definitely! I could easily ship them.So, who....Falls asleep on the couch: Neither of them do this often, at least separately, but sometimes they'll be curled up on the couch, watching a movie together, and just sort of... Drift off.Makes friends with the neighbors: Look, neither of them are trying, exactly, but at least Caitlin is friendly. Harry would be perfectly happy to never speak to any of them. Is the adventurous eater: Caitlin, for sure. Harry will stare at unfamiliar food and poke it suspiciously, but will rarely actually try it.Hogs the covers at night: This is 100% Harry, and he's unapologetic, because she's basically a cold generator. Forgets to do the dishes: Neither of them, exactly, but Caitlin is only used to doing her own dishes. Now, there's Harry's, and Jesse's, and she sometimes forgets to check until she brings her own. Luckily, Harry is used to doing dishes for two, so three is an easy adjustment. Tries to surprise their partner more often: Harry, and the key word there is "tries." Sometimes he has to recruit Cisco or Barry's help. Leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Again, Caitlin is used to living alone. But really, Jesse does it more than either of them.Stays up until 2 AM reading: BOTH. Sometimes they'll cuddle up, side by side, with different books. Sometimes-rarely-he'll read to her, or visa versa.Sings in the shower: Harry, but he'll never admit it. Takes the selfies: They aren't selfie people. Cisco and Jesse are always taking pics of them, though.Plans date night: Harry, usually, although Caitlin has done a few. Thanks for the ask!
