“Speaking of un-dull moments, it appears I have a, well…uh…cat. Chowing on my leg.” Gingerly Theo glances down and shakes his pant leg in Snuffles’ mouth with as much force as he dares.

“He likes you!” Mrs. Daines exclaims.

Liam slides up to his boyfriend’s side and reaches up to poke him in the cheek. “Don’t look so glum. Snuffles is like G-d.”

Theo blinks. “Excuse me?”

“He shows his love in mysterious ways,” says Liam, and his following grin is wildly inappropriate and blinding.
