headcanons of our muses - accepting 

These ladies dated. Ophie was always pushing Marcie out of her comfort zone which was good and fun sometimes, and terrible and terrifying other times. Ophilia was her best friend, too. Marcie becomes distrustful later on and is the one who breaks it off. It’s mostly due to an fundamental incompatibility between the two - polar opposites don’t always attract. But without Ophelia, Marcie wouldn’t be as open with herself as she is when she is older.  Ophelia taught her she doesn’t have to hold back and it’s ok to indulge, in all sorts of ways, through actions or thoughts. Ophelia was someone Marcie could rely on, to a certain extent, which is not something she is used to having as she’s always relied on herself. Also, Ophie never bitched about Marcie’s salads, the most important thing of all.
