-So today a joke about hoping a person who joked about the coronavirus has lymes disease to go with it (Corona and limes, right) got me in twitter jail. Holy s@#t, is this a social media milestone, like going from the crib to the big boy bed??? Apparently sarcasm is dead... but seriously, I'm gonna pm the person. Now I feel like an ass, and it was kinda funny.
-In all seriousness, I got a new eyeglass RX last week and my doc just got back from the Philippines. Guess what? He had a pretty good cough.
-So we were scheduled to go to the Vogue knitting showman Bellevue next weekend, but thanks to corvus-19, it has been postponed indefinitely. I cant take my days back, so H, Henry and I are gonna have adventures. I think I'm gonna go buy a hat...
- My job is waiting on pins and needles about the number of new cases of coronavirus in China. Why, you ask??? They are our major buyer, and it's starting to get touch and go about staying open. The tariffs that numb nuts decided were a good idea finally expired last week(praise be!), but now we are waiting for the chinese to open back up for business. For the love of pete, if you have any good energy, send it our way!!!!
-In other odd work related news, theres a sign at the bottom of our "man lift"(a big inverted conveyor belt with steps that takes us up and down from the 6th floot) that says "get off" on the ground floor, and I dont know how many times I've let out a Prince style scream at the bottom, ala 'gett off'. Pretty sure I scared my Trump loving bleacherman doing that once(although I dont know which scare was worse for him: when I did it, or when I explained why i did it). I wish I could tag a certain Jules in this post, because she was the one who reminded me how much I loved his music. But she wants nothing to do with #coronavirus, and I 1000% respect it. Anyhow, in other news...
- I'm thrilled theres gonna be a new Dixie Chicks album soon, and a Geoff Hirschfeld single released soon(on spotify, Itunes, and that kinda stuff). I'm nervous, as I'm laying down tracks tomorrow. Heres to keeping the good flow, no matter what!
- I have been doing a lot of self work lately, and part of that has been self talk. That stuff is hard for someone who can cut anyone else a break but yet has the go to move of self crucifiction. I love reading all of this truth to power, watching the chrysalis' stirring and beautiful things emerging. Thank you for sharing, as I love LOVE seeing people getting the good stuff. Anyhow, much love to y'all, and have an amazing week!
