· 10/18 - If you had to offer the group one tip about preparing for success, what would it be?
Look at best way to prioritize what you want in life. You’ll need to make space in your life to reach your goals, this can be as big as a job change or as small as not just sitting down straight away once the kids have gone to bed, instead doing half an hour of whatever it is that your striving for. Don’t be afraid to shake up your life a bit.
· 10/19 - What is one small step you can take in the next 24 hours to make 2020 better? Some examples - sign up for a race, make an appointment with a mental health professional, and forgive someone. Do this and report back.
I think my biggest thing this year, and I’ve already said it before. But making myself and self-care a priority. My mental health has been shocking for years, and I’ve always just pushed on past until I literally collapse. I’m sure anyone whos’s been following me for a long time has seen the pattern. I am just there for everyone, working to my limit all the time and don’t put anything into taking care of myself. It’s not healthy, it’s not good for me.
I’m done.
I don’t want to keep hurting myself. So I’ve put myself in time out and I’ll sit here until I feel better. Like the stroppy child that my brain has suddenly become, I realised I’m just an over tired toddler in need of some love and a nap.
But would I love to run a race next year, Yes!!! Will I sign up for one now. No I need to get Christmas out the way, with a big move to a new place and it costing us almost £2000. I’m afraid it’s one of those things that is on the back burner for the moment. But I am all for getting signed up next year to run and really giving it my all.

“Fitness - is definitely going to be my biggest challenge to tackle.” I am pleased to say that since writing this, I’m fucking nailing getting into fitness again.
I’m also loving doing the shred, which is weird because I didn’t think I’d be this pumped to be doing it. But It’s nice to have something that I can give all my focus to for 20 minutes and then go about my day. Feeling like a very happy motivated little bean.
