i bought book 1 of the partials series 2 years ago for my birthday. i opened it for the first time and read chapter 1 today.

I mean, I can understand the japanese cast. if they wanted to cast acurately they may as well collabed with hollywood cause thats a lot of money. but still, changin the characters??? completely?? why not just call that guy levi? he looks close enough. what about that whole backstory with erwin? his squad?

eren - ok, I give it to them. hes popular mikasa - no brainer armin - ok hongo I like u so u pass jean - what? why is jean so puny. wtf. and whatabout fucking marco and that tragic sidestory where the fuck are the titan trio?

you know. if they were really dedicated they could pull off the characters. if cosplayers can dress up and look the part im pretty sure professional makeup artists could make it work.

regardless though, people are still gonna watch so at the end of the day all they need is a title and a few familiar faces and they can do whatever they want.
