i keep thinking of test pattern (2019), how sweet renesha's white boyfriend seems. making her breakfast, wishing her well at work checking in on her to make sure shes enjoying the job. then comes tension when she needs him most and his seeing her as his property and all the racial connotations that come with that get revealed. girl.
