the animation in Heidi is so lovely they made an effort to make heidi actually move her body like a 5yo girl would it's so endearing

watching patlabor makes me wish giant robots were real because they do a great job of showing how just like commonplace and ordinary labors are, as opposed to like other mecha anime ive seen where theyre all just like bigass super cool fighting robots labors are just like. these are just machines in the end. 

also watching patlabor makes glad that this shit isnt real because i’d be terrified of the fact that division 2 would be out there ready to commit horrible property damage at the drop of a hat every single day

The boy raised his stare from the book the older woman managed to acquire  for him. And his blank stare gave it all:

“Grim mom, very fucking grim.”

“Just so you know I’ll always be watching. Can’t hide anything from me. Ever.”

Her eyes did narrow, though. He just used a no-no word to her face. Sigrun tapped the book down, bending to push her face near her sons. 

“Also, you’re grounded.”
