During the IW press tour, Chris starts to feel a little insecure & jealous watching Seb w/Tom Hiddleston & Winston Duke, fearing that Seb will fall for either man before Chris can work up the courage to tell Sebastian how he feels. I stand there - frozen against the kitchen counter - body still feeling his on mine. My fingers lining my lips as if to mimic the feeling of his, unable to comprehend why they are gone. Why he dared to leave me with this aching in my bones for him.

There was no hesitation. None on either side. I was ready before he even touched me. It’s like he knew. Through one look he knew what I wanted. I knew it the minute his mahogany eyes met mine. A rush ran through me. An itch lined my lips. An acute need for his touch, his gaze, his everything. And I felt it. I felt it all in his kiss, and I wasn’t the only one. His eyes may be hard to read, but his lips told me everything. I’m not alone. He feels it too. This rush, this electricity, this pull when we’re around each other. It feels like getting stuck in the current when you’re too far in the ocean. Inescapable, immensely frustrating, and so powerful you lose all control. You’re at the complete and utter mercy of the rocky waters, like we’re at the mercy of each other. We’ve swam too far in each other’s oceans to turn back now. Neither one of us having any power over what we say or do. Pure, raw, visceral instinct. Just like that kiss. It wasn’t planned, expected, never intended, but once we felt it, we did it. No hesitation, no apprehension, it was meant to happen.

He brings out a side of me that no one else does. He brings out the most true form of myself. The version of myself where I don’t plan or anticipate. The side of me that just lives; does and says what I want the minute I want to, with no doubt or uncertainty. I am me, in every sense of the word. My soul is bare, exposed, willing. I’m more myself with him than I am when I’m alone. There’s an addiction, a necessity. We are like good and evil. One cannot exist without the other. Wade needs me as much as I need him. We are linked. Like thunder and lightning. A constant, necessary existence to each other.

All the feelings I suppressed and ignored for years come rushing back, flooding my mind with the full force of a raging storm, thundering through my chest straight to my heart. I always knew, always, but never dared to admit: I love him. I love Wade Morris with all that I am, with all I ever hope to be, with every atom, every cell, every beat of my insecure heart. He is the only thing I have ever been sure of. The only thing I have been certain of in my entire life, and that won’t change. It hasn’t since we were kids, and it never will. I love him, and I know he loves me too.

However, accompanied with the certainty of my feelings, I also know that it’s not the right time for us. We’re not ready, but we will be. If two people are meant to be, they will always find their way back to each other, and we will.
