Acceptance letters have been sent out!
Well, well, well, long time no post, I wouldn’t be surprised if you forgot about us! We didn’t! In fact, I had met up with Mod Tranformers!! I learned that their favorite food is PASTA! Crazy, right?
If you got a DM from us within the past few days, congratulations! You’re in! To everyone else, thank you so much for your applications, all of them were so, so good, and we just couldn’t decide on the THIRTEEN people we wanted to accept!
To those 13 people who were accepted, here’s a quick run down of everything you might need to know!
- How the fics will be presented to the public.
We ask that everyone, once they’re finished with their fics, post them to both AO3 and to Tumblr so we can put them on this blog and add them to the 2022 Collection!
-Word counts/number of fics you can submit.
You have some options! You can either enter 2 fics with a word count of <999 words or one fic with a word count of 1000-3000 words, or you can do all three! You could also only do one of the shorter fics! It's all up to you!
-Material/Ships
1. We also ask that the content of your fics remain PG, to an extent. You can write mature angst/death fics (Apollo knows that’s all I write), but please tag it as such. Please, for the sake of any younger audiance this event might gather, don’t write anything explicit. Kissing is fine of course, but please, nothing more. Ships are not only allowed, but encouraged, as long as you are shipping the characters. Keep any RPF to a minimum, seeing as most fics will take place within the Empires canon (IRL Jizzie mentions should be alright.)
2. We also ask that, for the comfort of the majority, you don’t ship characters that have been widely headcannoned/cannonized as siblings (I.E. Seablings, Roseblings, or the Wither Rose Alliance. [Flirty Himbros {Joel & Jimmy} are allowed]).
If you would like a prompt, we’ll gladly come up with a few, but you are free to write what you want! (Within the guidelines above). Aus are welcome, Cannon aligned is welcome, canon divergant is welcome, Angst, fluff, hurt/comfort- it’s all welcome! Please let us know if you have any questions. We hope you have fun with this! It’s not a competition, but we may hand out superlitive awards at the end of this! Happy writing!!
