So my boss fired my lame new coworker, and I am both relieved and I feel bad because I am not a soulless monster and don’t want anyone to be out of a job, especially a parent.

If anyone had it coming this woman did.

Started off by sharing stories of getting fired from other schools, and of recently letting a dude fresh out of rehab stay with her and her kid. (Spoiler: didn’t end well.) Then when I expressed concerns that she wasn’t jumping in, she turns blame on me. Apparently despite having been in the industry for 14 years she needs me to stop what I am doing and write her a step by step to do list.

She has told me she can’t tie shoes, she can’t put away the mats the way I ask, she just can’t. I was just about to start saying the same thing I say to the kids, “In this room we don’t say I can’t. We say it’s hard, butI will try.”

She was making my life miserable after twenty minutes. And then this idiot, realizing she done fucked up by alienating me, tries to give me a birthday gift. I won’t be throwing it directly in the trash because that’s wasteful. What we aren’t gonna do is keep it. I’ve never received a grosser feeling gift. It was a blanket and chocolate bar but in my head I’m thinking, bitch you have a kid to feed and make less than me, and you have known me for a week, and ignored everything I have asked of you, what are you doing? Ugh.

She was the literal poster child of how to not act. In every way. Including misgenderig someone and making a borderline racist remark. Gtfo.
