On the topic of the show being dark: I just finished S01E08 and.. it all points towards incest? I mean if Duncan’s father is her father as well... that would be another layer of “I didn’t expect this!” Maybe that was what the people meant when they said I might like the show XD
Now I finished S01E10 and Logan’s father just got stabbed and... I mean, Logan is sort of weirdly mean (and so camp??? the way he was leaning against the shelf XD to give just one example) idk I still don’t know what to think of him. Anyway, I am rooting for his dad to just die. Maybe then he can expose how horribly he has been treated all those years
:O okay, just finished S01E13! Logan showed up at Veronica’s door because he wants her to find his mum (who I thought was dead lol THAT was a plot twist. but apparently she is not now and his reasoning kind of holds up idk) This show is getting crazier with each episode and I totally love it! Can’t wait to see what happens next. I need so much popcorn...
btw I managed to avoid spoilers so far so, yeah, I’d like to keep it that way.
I’ve lowkey been thinking since episode one that Duncan was the one who killed his sister and with him admitting to the missing time now I feel I can write it down without sounding stupid :P or maybe it’s just a massive red herring and I fell for it. (or Lily knew about the incest (isn’t the big secret always incest :P) because she overheard her mother and then she told Duncan, Duncan went into some kind of rage, killed Lily, mummy Kane paid off Abel (lol.. Cain and Abel?) to take the fall (is he sick? I bet he struck a deal so his family gets money when he’s dead) and that’s where we are now...
Oh and the thing about the Kane mum ordering the security guy to follow Veronica around without the husband (her bio dad?) knowing.. I hope they wrap that up and don’t leave it hanging.
Also, is the Veronica/Logan thing some kind of friends to enemies to friends to lovers story? It’s beginning to feel like that.
Anyway, two more episodes for me today!
