Tide Caregiver Headcanons
He has a very calming and safe energy to him, which combined with his occasional goofiness, makes him an amazing caregiver
He’s strong enough to carry almost anyone if they aren’t much larger than himself, so he’s always giving his littles uppies!
He puts on mini water shows for his littles, whether it’s to entertain them while they’re eating, to comfort/distract them when they’re upset, or just because they asked nicely
He’s really good at encouraging his littles to take care of themselves. He often gives them lectures about being kind to their bodies, but says it in a way that makes it sound like an inspirational speech, especially in the eyes of a small one
Like any good caregiver, Tide would do anything to make sure his kiddos are safe. He gets a bit overprotective sometimes, which is often frustrating, but he gets better with time as he learns what his littles do and don’t need his protection from
If anyone were to insult or hurt one of his kids, though, he would go full mama bear mode, no questions asked
He keeps a group photo of all of his littles on him at all times. It’s not a good photo – some are trying to climb on top of each other, others are just a blur running around – but that’s what makes it so incredibly them and he would never trade it for the world
