It always terrifies me when I see people from the US talking about their health system works, even more so when the dumbass who was elected recently plans on doing the same here. My country's health's system is far from perfect and there's much, much room for improvement, but just this week? My uncle will have two major spine surgeries in one go (one of them involves the placement of two titanium cervical discs and it'll cost him nothing, except for the taxes we as citizens pay every year.

an accurate representation of a lot of americans with (and without) health care is basically that gif of that dude who got impaled (on a show, not real) and he’s just shrugging like WHAT CAN YOU DO LMAO. granted people who do have health care here do get some help, but some plans are better than others or more expensive. but really it’s just. out of control. so very out of control.
