I'm thinking about buying Stardew Valley on PC so I can play it with mods (I've played it a ton on switch) and honestly a big selling point was finding out that someone out there finally modded Penny's 2-heart scene to not be so goddamn ableist.

ok so this is another long shot but a few years ago there was a twitter post (in japanese i think?) that had measurememts for how to make this book stand thing out of cardboard that you could use to double up books and use up more space on shelves

back then i made a bunch of these but by now i lost the pic and dont know how to find the original post anymore

if it comes down to it i can just take one apart and get the measurements from there but i would be very grateful if anyone happens to have the original post or something similar??

don't mind how long it's been since i made this post, anyway i realized that i don't even need to take one apart to get the measurements when i can literally just unfold it and refold it /FACEPALM

so anyway here is the diagram for anyone else who is interested!!

this requires pretty big carboard pieces, if you have a really big box or something you can make it from one piece, but if you don't, you can also just make each of the pieces individually and then tape them together

and then in the end you put it together like this!!

and then when you make a bunch you can put them all next to each other and stack your books like crazy

one could make the argument that Timmy fits more with faires than with humans by all the chaos he causes to pay with how horrible a lot of people treat him. The fae are know to cause chaos and give back karma and curses if your rude to them. Could also be some really good foreshadowing that Timmy is slowly turning into a fairy/becoming one of the fae.

(Ignore that it took me like a week to respond to this because I was out of it with a cold.)

But I do love this idea of Timmy already being kinda fae-like, and maybe becoming more so over time as becomes a fairy.

I also think about this a lot with the lawyer!Timmy fanon, leaning into the “fae are bound by strict rules, but can use loopholes to trick people/get what they want/etc.” I see Timmy absolutely using this for good, for people that would otherwise get screwed over by the legal system. Fae-trickster-lawyer Timmy!!

Not to vague, but I saw a post going around like “uhg, now that there are all these New Fans in this fandom, now 20% of the fics are Ship I Disapprove Of”.

And like, I kinda get it. We’ve all been in fandoms that got kinda annoying with an influx of new people.

But like… it was the attaching the number to it that really got me. Like, you actually ran the numbers, found out that the thing you dislike in your fandom doesn’t even hit the Goncharov Index for judging ship popularity, and STILL hit post on your joyless take??

Low key I read in this one nicktoons untite fic that the guys were so in awe at meeting Jenny, and I low key love it that she's basically their superman and wonder woman for the team. They know everything is going to be ok when Jenny is around. Now Danny on the other hand is the team cryptid.

Who ever thought the idea to put Manny and Jenny on the team was brilliant(though I wish the team had another girl)

I am always saying this. Since I have a lot of AUs (some in WIPs) I am always trying to figure out how to get more girls in. It’s hard though, with that era of nicktoons there just weren’t a lot of girl protags. (Obvs there are girl side characters that I love including but like, c’mon.)

Can we get Eliza Thornberry on the team? The talking to animals power is super niche, but then again SpongeBob’s only power is “being a sponge.”

Anyway, Danny is definitely the team cryptid. Something something, Jenny is the team Superman but Danny is the team Batman.

JimmyTimmy is a given in the team. Everyone knows, everyone sees them as practically married already even before they officially get together because they were the first ones to start the team. They knew each other before the team. Everyone would feel really really weird if they were dating anyone else. They are a set do not seprate for too long type thing. Tigerghost on the other hand is the surprise ship you did not see coming, but once you get it, you go like oh ok. You don't expect them to work so well together but they do and it's a wonderful surprise that just keeps getting better. Meanwhile SpongeBob team asexual and Jenny Wakeman team lesbian constantly giving each other knowing looks understanding each other as the rest of their team couples up. But also they both love watching the shenanigans of the other guys relationship at the same time. Its like watching a drama for them and it's really fun.

I like to imagine that first bit with jimmytimmy but except they’re NOT together. Like, it just drives everyone crazy. They have this super intense friendship that neither of them will acknowledge is bordering on explicitly romantic. They have both dated other people while on the team, and the other one is always weird about it but denies it. They are always all up in each other’s business, whether they are fighting or sitting too close to each other or staring at each other like no one else is there. When they finally get together, everyone is just so glad they don’t have to put up with this anymore. (They will still have to put up with it, but at least JT know it’s romantic now.)

For tigerghost, I have this concept I’ve never been sure what to do with where Jimmy puts Danny in charge of the new recruits: Manny and Jenny. Both of them have been having trouble integrating with the team; Jenny just because she’s used to doing everything herself, but Manny is also that + how he hates being told what to do. So, Danny ends up in this weird position of kind of being Manny’s tutor/supervisor, and feeling awkward about catching feelings for him… and meanwhile Jenny also has to put up with this.
