talking about money includes:

saying that you want to commission somebody for fic/art or even that you would pay for more fic (including in the comments)

saying that you take commissions

saying that you can buy a zine

saying that you participated [by spending money] in an auction

probably other things i haven't listed

just don't reference money in exchange for any kind of fanwork
