erughh just spent at least half an hour trying to put some kind of nose ring back on (in? what do you even say with piercings 😐) after having the one I'd been wearing out for a week or two & it was Not easy & I couldn't get the one I wanted to work due to insane topology of both the jewelry & my nose & I couldn't find the second best one so I had to use a different one

As a whitey who makes jokes like this often “that’s so white” isn’t actually a real criticism until you elaborate. White isn’t a synonym for cringe lol. I only say this because I’m noticing people calling media made by creators of color “white” as though that means anything… like. A media made not only by a person of color but with the help of multiple people of color from across the globe with different languages isn’t. White. That’s like the point

I do think there are other things you can criticize as being very white esp if there’s unchecked prejudice & colonialism and all that within the media itself, but it’s so strange that it’s gotten to a point where people of color are being harassed for being too white. Where’s the logic?

May 5th.

It was the usual. Waking up. Getting dressed. Eating. Blah blah. Nothing more to say.

When I sat down awaiting the driver, I couldn’t help but notice him and with a lady. It didn’t look like flirting or anything like but they seemed to be talking about me. How rude really. Like hello? I’m here too?? They also kept looking at me. Soon more people joined in on it and listened in on their conversation. I’m not some circus freak, my hell. They also had some pity in their eyes. Wonder why but just shrugged it off.

They all kept speaking some weird words that I looked up. Huh. Interesting really.

Right when we finally left, there was a crowd of people at the inn’s entrance and they all made the sign of the cross and pointed two fingers at me. ??? What the- I don’t understand at all.

I asked person next to me what it meant, which he struggled to say at first, (what am I? Some scary villain that’s gonna kill everyone??) but told me it was a charm or guard against the evil eye.

How weird and soooo nice to hear. But it actually seemed nice of them I guess.
