Gosh that’s an interesting question. I might add to this later as I come up with things

Stereotypical “gifted kid” in some kind of higher education program. (idk much about British schools though)

Started reading before she could speak well. Her parents would read her stories before bed and by a young age she’d started requesting chapter books and reading along (or trying to)

Always wanted to go to some kind of “bring your child to work” type of thing because she was fascinated by her parents’ jobs

Went through about fifty career opportunities and her parents were so excited because she had a lot of potential. Went from wanting to be a dentist to a librarian to a policewoman to a doctor to a lawyer to a teacher to anything else

Overachiever in every way but was socially stunted. Not only did she isolate herself from her peers (both due to lack of interest and bullying) but she also just didn’t know how to interact with them

Would stay inside for recess to read or help the teachers when she could

Was annoyed by the holidays because she wanted to go to school

Pathetic at PE. Least athletic kid in the world. Her parents probably wanted her to do some kind of physical activity but she’d tried it and hated it so much they took her out

Probably liked helping with sports though. Would set things up and clean up and everything. As long as she wasn’t DOING it

Loved traveling and any activity with her parents even if she hated the activity itself

Never formed close bonds with anyone. Closest was with her parents but before Ron & Harry she didn’t have anyone she felt like she could share a lot with. A lot of what she did as a kid was both genuine interest and trying to be “good enough” for the adults in her life because peers her age didn’t like her

Sorry it took me forever to respond!! I’ve barely been on Tumblr recently because I’ve been trying to avoid spoilers for Deltarune Chapter 5 lmao

I haven’t posted my time travel fic, no! I’m probably gonna wait to do so until She Who Must Not Be Named finally kicks it to post it anywhere. A lot of people are of the mindset that if you write fanfics for Harry Potter, you automatically agree with her views. Obviously I (as a trans person) know that that’s stupid, but I just don’t wanna deal with the drama lmao

It’s pretty self indulgent, anyway. I’m not sure how many people would actually wanna read it, with all the hcs I’m shoving in there lol
