Remembered I have multiple binders full of CDs a neighbor gave us years ago so I'm burning them to my computer. So far it's a lotta 2000s pop/rock/etc.

Me @ my brain: please focus we're supposed to be packing for going away this weekend and you still have work to do.

SO stuff

SO and I were talking about his interview and his getting the job and how glad he was.  He said "Maybe they remembered my bullet story."  And of course I asked what the hell that was.  He said then when they asked him a question about approaching problem solving, he told this story: 

During WWII, the English air force decided to put armor on their bomber planes.  They knew the obvious places to put the armor, like the cockpit and such, but they had some weight allowance for a little more, and wanted to put it in the best pattern possible.  So they got a university mathematics professor to figure it out, and brought him to the base.  They showed him the planes that came back from their bombing runs.  He sort of disappeared for a few weeks, and the military guys forgot about him until he showed up one day with a crude drawing of a bomber with blob shape things all over it.  The military guys laughed, but they gave him a chance to explain why.  He said that is where the bullet holes weren't.  He was the only one to realize that those planes came back from their mission, and where the bullet holes were, are places were the plane can take hits.  So everywhere else must be places where it cannot take hits.

So that was his bullet story, and he said the interviewers seemed to enjoy it :)

I really just want to make a lot of Cosplay and stuff and write a book and share all the pretties and fun stuff with you guys on Tumblr... But school says no. :( I'm so ready for graduation and being able to go to cons and vacation trips again!

ive made up my mind about summer plans. im not gonna have a lot im just gonna go out on my bike and ride trails and find places and paint things and read stuff and maybe even write some poetry or something. im just gonna do my own thing for once.
