One headcanon I've had for a while that I now realize counts is that the Intrepid Heroes' reactions to the two Night Yorbies popping out of the trap doors is basically how their respective Bad Kid reacted. Like, Riz and Gorgug just start laughing; Fabian having a thousand years stare...

Those kids were fucking exhausted and burnt out. Literally JUST got off of a quest that laid bare all their deepest fears and traumas (and made a few new ones) and then they have to spend time they should be recovering doing it all over again... then these chucklefucks pop out of the ground WELL after the fight is over acting like they're billy badass about to turn the tide of battle? Its the PEAK of comedy at that point.
