7 or 3 for tedkina ??
there's a fine line between politeness and coldness , akina mori often crosses it because no matter how hard she tried to appear genuine whenever they were around her father , it failed miserably . left her wishing she didn't say a word about her marriage to him ; akina has seen him once or twice in their extravagant balls , and it's been two weeks since she got married and she's not left the bedroom that she locked behind herself whenever they got home . the carriage moved through the damp streets , wet ground smelling fresh . akina's hands were locked neatly on her lap , feeling the soft silk of her kimono under her touch . fur covered her shoulders , long hair donned in a thin braid that reached the back of her thighs — she put every ounce of her energy to look pretty today and all her mother told her was that she lost too much weight . ‘ your husband will go out searching for a more beautiful woman , fool , look after yourself . ‘ it's not that she's crafted a shield around her brain whenever her mother spat poison , it's simply the fact that her poison would sometimes pierce that shield . akina is glad it's dark , that her dear husband can't see her tears . but guesses that he either senses it or catches a glimpse of her wet cheeks when they pass by a street lamp . so he stares , long enough for akina to finally catch his gaze with her cold one and hiss out ; ❛ what ? ❜ it could be an intimidating gesture , if her voice didn't break at the end of it . with a clenched jaw she rolled her eyes and stared out of the small window by her arm , mumbling under her breath ; ❛ you should go to your girlfriend to be comforted , i believe . my father had been quite difficult tonight . ❜
