Shaken baby syndrome?

I find it really disturbing that when I go to the doctors office or even just reading articles in the news that there is a need to warn parents of the dangers of shaking babies. Why is not common sense to not shake a baby? It’s so obvious that it could hurt or kill a child.

How could someone do that and then turn around to say they love their child... it’s not like it’s an accident.
