Mackenzie Gray (aka Papa Bea/John Kane) was in the hospital battling a dangerous foot infection for most of 2020. Half of his leg had to be amputated and he still has to go through a few months of physical therapy.

Here’s calling all of the So Weird Fandom to join together to send in some well wishes for us to compile into a video to give him as one big virtual get well soon card! Send in a short audio clip, video, fanart, or comment of well wishes to soweirdondisney.gmail.com to be  included!

Unfortunately, I still haven’t received as many submissions as I need to create this project. I have seen a lot of people show interest, though, so I’m extending the deadline to July 31.

The goal of this project is to let the cast and crew of the show know that there’s still a lot of love for this little show.

If you want to participate, you can create a vlog (video of yourself talking about why you love the show/message you’d like to send to the cast/crew),  a fanvid, send some fanart, express your So Weird love through a song— be as creative as you like! Audio recordings of yourself reading your message is a great way to participate, too! And if you’re camera shy or unable to make a video, send in a message that you would like included in the video and we’ll read it or show it for you!
