He wasn’t much of gift giver. What could he give an android, after all? Maybe Hank could’ve tried asking him, but... shit. The older man didn’t wanna spoil what little of a surprise there was to gift-giving. So, instead, he was probably gonna make a fool of himself. The fuck would Connor need with something like this, anyway? It’d be a purely aesthetic thing, with no function. No reason.

Still, he had hoped it might be good enough for the kid.

Reaching out, the DPD lieutenant patted his partner on the shoulder fondly.

“I’d love to help you,” he began again, lifting a finger aloft. “But what makes you worthy of the attention of Maximus the Maker?” He rattled the device he was holding and it sounded loudly of loose screws.
