{ `sits with an elbow over the arm rest, index finger brushing along the faint ridges of her lower lip. } Can't tell if I'm just sleepy or actually lazy.
And then, I give up for the night. Might linger a little, though likely not. The day hasn't been treating me very well, so I'll fend off these feelings with sleep. Good day to you all.
I see straight through that deceiving act. Haughty, arrogant, and contrived with any traits that could be possibly good, alongside a narrow train of thought. It astounds me that people would stick around someone so incredibly dull-minded and continue with conversation that isn't even remotely stimulating, but either their aims are bad or they're just as vapid. Good arrogance exists, somehow. Even good haughtiness exists. But for the ignorant lot, it's undeserved and unreasonable, just like the rest of that labored, artificial personality.
A work ethic like no other, little to none could manage to distract a motivated Sohee. She sat there, script in one hand, sipping on tea with the other. After the last drop slipped into her system, a sigh slipped beyond her lips and the cafe's chime finally caught her attention. More importantly, the person sitting on the lower level. You don't owe them anything. You don't owe anyone anything. The only person you owe is yourself and the only thing you owe yourself is happiness. I won't say you can never be selfless or that it's bad. If they make you happy, keep them around. If they don't, you don't owe it to them to stay. Don't over-complicate it. If you think too much, you always back out.
